Big Jump In Numbers
Funny thing happened to young Michael Mistretta yesterday. One of his posts hit Reddit and suddenly he had his highest traffic day ever - 15, 000 visitors.
The post itself was comical, but I really liked Michael’s comments in regards to the traffic it generated:
Funny, when I put a lot of thought into a blog post, I only get about 300 posts. But when I publish something that’s just pure funny, I get 15,000.
There’s no doubt, the patterns of the herd are difficult to predict. Sometimes generating traffic is a guessing game. Keep true to your thoughts in your letter to the blogosphere Michael and people will keep coming back.
